A Day on the Prarie with Maghreb and My Nine Kids

Today was a typical day on the prarie, with the sun shining bright and the wind blowing through the grass. I had my trusty horse Maghreb by my side, and my nine kids running around, playing and helping out with the cattle. We had a few run-ins with some of the animals, but nothing too serious. I had to remind my kids to stay away from the bulls, as I remembered the time I had to rescue my mama from a charging bull when I was a young'un.

The day was peaceful, and I was grateful for the time I got to spend with my family. We rounded up the cattle and made sure they were all accounted for, and then we headed back to the ranch. As we rode, I couldn't help but think of the words my granddaddy used to say: "Life on the prarie is a blessing, and it's a gift to be able to enjoy it."

I couldn't agree more. I'm thankful for the life I have, and for the time I get to spend with my family. I'm also thankful for Maghreb, who has been with me through thick and thin. I'm looking forward to another day on the prarie tomorrow, and I'm sure it will be just as peaceful and enjoyable as today. Yee-haw!
